There was a young warrior,
In a kingdom he lived,
Running amok in his town
Evil, it hid.
The kingdom he lived in,
Corrupt to the bone,
The one they called ruler
Was sent from below.

Off to the guard
The young man, he went
Without any knowledge
Of the crimes they commit.
There he applied
To serve for the king,
To lay down his life
Wherever the king may need.

After a year,
One hellish at that,
Time by the Fire
Is where he’d relax.
With all of his Comrades
Drinking and eating,
The young man would cherish
This time, for it’s fleeting.

After a battle
Of harrowing kind,
The monstrosities committed
Haunted his mind.
Innocent slain,
Children were crying.
The young man decided
For change he’ll be fighting.

Out again to battle
The young man is sent
From the hand of the king
The orders were bent.
Another small village,
Much like his own,
Is to become victim
Of kings on their throne.

As he is marching
The young man, he hears
A rumor of more
Caresses his ear.
He presses in further,
Two solders converse,
Of an old legend
About a savior of sorts.

“Who is the one
In the legend “ he asks.
The solders look at him
With lips curled back.
They tell him a legend,
The ‘Scapen will come,
And ask him to join them
Awaiting that one.

With hope In his heart
The young man looks foreword.
The ‘Scapen shall come
And justice restored.
Throw down the old kingdom
And always look foreword.
The ‘Scapen is coming
To give kings their poison


This album functions as a sort of background to the character Yilmir from my 'Scapen project. You can find poems that tell the story in the lyrics of each song.

Recorded on two summer evenings in a hermits lair with a Yamaha PSS-460 and a Tascam MF-P01.
